Good deal: TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite, 25,000 Aeroplan Points, First Year Free, $85 Cash-Back (RFD)
I recently posted how you can get 25,000 Aeroplan miles, first year free, and $50 with GreatCanadianRebates. RedFlagDeals, a Canadian consumer deals website, is currently offering the same deal, but with $85 cash back [this is not a referral link]. You will get 15,000 Aeroplan points with your first purchase, and an additional 10,000 Aeroplan points after spending $1,000 on the card within 90 days from the date of being approved.
To be approved for this card, you need to have a personal income of $60,000 or greater, or a household income of $100,000 greater. Remember, “household income” is a fairly broad term.
I find TD is a pretty generous issuer, and even if you get denied, you can ask to move current available credit on a current TD card to get it approved.
You will also get your first checked bag with Air Canada for free, access to priority check-in and priority boarding, and a Maple Leaf Lounge pass, which can only be used when you’re travelling on an Aeroplan award ticket.
With the $85 cash-back from RedFlagDeals, and 25,000 free Aeroplan points, this is a pretty darn good “churn card.”
The only good thing about this card is the sign up bonus. I won’t be using this card after I get the 25k
