I found an excellent fare between Vancouver YVR and Hong Kong HKG, via Tokyo HND. There is significant availability through 2015, including long stays and immediate, 0-night turnarounds. You can use ITA Matrix, Google Flights, or Kayak.com to find availability.
This fare just won’t die… aaron1262 on Flyertalk reports that a mistake fare, where you go Italy (MXP or FCO) to Singapore, stay in Singapore, and go to the USA (SFO and EWR work so far) for ~$338 is back. There seems to be pretty wide availability, especially in December, April, and May. I haven’t played around with the fare too much yet.
Last night, I found 0$ fares + booking fees on Porter Airlines between YOW/YTZ/YUL-EWR/BOS/MDW. These fares only show up for weekends throughout October. I can pull the fare on flyporter.com, eDreams.net, and opodo.com. Alas, whenever I try booking it, something goes wrong.
$603USD Toronto YYZ – Bucharest OTP, round-trip, everything included, flying on Air France, KLM, and/or Alitalia. You can route through Paris CDG, Amsterdam AMS, Milan MXP, or Rome FCO (though it seems like it’s easier to route through CDG or AMS). Can get as cheap as 5.9CPM.
