I have to say, of all the sign-up bonuses I’ve seen, this is the most original/creative. Not that I would ever do it though, considering: (a) I don’t play tennis, (b) the $250 MSRP is inflated, and there’s a $125 fee, and (c) otherwise the card sucks. Nonetheless, it’s an interesting promotion, and I give kudos to National Bank for being creative… I just hope other credit issuers don’t start offering merchandise (like what MBNA did with their Sony card) instead of points!
