My favourite Aeroplan redemption is travelling within the Pacific region. For 25,000 points (40k in J and 55k in F) you can travel in economy anywhere in the region. What’s so special about these redemptions is that typically getting from island-to-island, or from Australia/New Zealand to some of these small (but beautiful) Pacific islands can be prohibitively expensive.

What is churning? Churning is the process of acquiring a credit card, meeting the requirements for any associated bonus, cancelling the card, and restarting the process anew. That is, it's getting the card, cancelling, wash and repeat.
