DON’T USE SQUARE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD, ESPECIALLY AMEX
I don’t want to go into too much detail, but: don’t use Square to manufacture spend on a credit card, especially on AMEX (Canada). I did so, and it ended poorly.
A Reflection on the Chicago Seminars
This weekend I was at the Chicago Seminars, a weekend conference for points and miles. Generally it’s for beginners, but many experts, including “famous” people in the blogosphere attend. These are my reflections on the Chicago Seminars:

Every year, a bunch of volunteers host a gathering for us crazy frequent flyers, called the Chicago Seminars. I will be joining them for the first time this year. If I have any readers there, please shoot me an email so we can grab a drink. Otherwise, I’ll post next week some interesting tidbits from the event.

The Lifemiles tricked cities have been fixed. They no longer work. Turkey, Korea, Australia, etc. Dead. All dead. Boomies still work.
