Great deal: $50 off Vegas.com bookings – hotels, flights, shows, tours, etc.

While planning my upcoming trip to Vegas, I stumbled upon a $50 off $100 booking with Vegas.com coupon. It’s associated with Visa Checkout. You will get $50 off a minimum of $100, on anything but gift cards with Vegas.com. Although the promotion says it doesn’t start until tomorrow, it currently works.

IHG award night problems – minimum night requirements

I’m currently planning a trip for my parents to Turkey. They both had 60,000 IHG points, and I wanted them to have a “splurge” trip rather than staying at a cheaper hotel. Unfortunately, the AKL-TBU segment is extremely challenging to get two seats on, so I was pretty lucky that I got dates that worked for my itinerary.

Sunday Reader Question: Credit Cards that Provide Insurance for Aeroplan Tickets

Many credit cards offer travel insurance when the full cost of your ticket is charged to your credit card. However, what if you used points, and only used your credit card for the taxes and fees? Today's Sunday Reader Question is: what credit cards provide travel insurance coverage for Aeroplan tickets?

Did you close your credit card? Did you REALLY close it?

I was just sitting on the sofa, and got an email from Equifax saying there’s been a “rate change” to a credit report. I logged in and saw that the credit score dropped significantly. I dug deeper, and I saw that a credit card was listed as being late, as “bad debt.” WHAT. THE. HELL!? I’ve never missed a payment in my life.
