Now that we have that covered, let’s get on to my new complaint: British Airways. To summarize my feelings, in a most English way: wankers. Absolute wankers.
There are a bunch of great Canadian fares roaming around, but the following catch my attention:
– Vancouver YVR – Shanghai PVG $488 on Delta
There are dozens of frequent flyer programs available, but few provide as much value on a points-to-dollar basis than British Airways Avios points. Today’s Sunday Reader Question is: How do you best use British Airways Avios in Canada and the United States? Are they good?
Update: After Tweeting, emailing, and contacting the VP of BA, I finally received a cheque, denominated in CAD, for the full amount owed!
This past summer, I flew with British Airways from Edinburgh EDI to London LGW. There was a flight cancellation, and they put me on the LHR bound flight, which left me at my final destination much later than I would have otherwise been.
