Some really great European fares have been loaded, booking on Delta, KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Swiss, Air Canada, and a number of other carriers. It doesn’t seem to be a mistake, rather, a fare war. I’ve listed a bunch of city pairs, however, a number of other European cities are included in this deal. Note that these prices are in USD.

Possible Mistake: Delta Skymiles Showing Near Unlimited Partner Availability (sometimes)

One of my part-time jobs is as an award booker. I was recently working on a file using Delta Skymiles, and was facing a number of oddities on the Delta.com website. For example, there was a Virgin Atlantic flight that I wanted. It wasn’t appearing on a normal Delta search, nor was it showing as available to the Delta phone agents. However, if I put my browser into incognito mode, logged out of my Skymiles account, and searched initially using the “flexible” search option, that flight showed up, and showed up as bookable (and booked!)

MISTAKE FARE: New York City JFK (+SFO/IAD/ORD/DFW/LAX) – The World (ex. $212 r/t to Manila/Hong Kong / $339 to South Africa, ROUND-TRIP, taxes included!)

There’s a mistake fare between New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles (New York City JFK is the cheapest) to anywhere Etihad flies.
